On a chilly, blue sky day we had lunch at Nero Waffle Bar and took a walk around Stanley Park Seawall.
After a lazy morning we chose Nero Waffle Bar for lunch and selected two waffles, a savoury and a sweet:
- Baked Brie, a Brussels waffle with greens, honey mustard dressing, pine nuts, brûléed brie cheese and crispy prosciutto.
- Banella Brûlé: a waffle with vanilla ice cream, nutella, whip cream, nutella mousse, caramelised banana
They were weirdly dry, didn’t come with maple syrup, and the coffee wasn’t great but the Belgium hot chocolate was awesome.

After lunch, we wandered down to Stanley Park – a 400-hectares natural West Coast rainforest, dotted with historical landmarks, and Canada’s largest aquarium at its centre. Around its edge, you can take in scenic views of the harbour and the mountains from along Stanley Park’s famous Seawall.

Although today’s been sunny and warmer than all the other days we’ve been here, it was still a chilly 4 degrees. So we only walked for long enough to capture a few snaps and then grabbed a taxi back to the hotel.
Despite our week in Vancouver being short and sweet, I’ve had a lot of fun and I’ve loved every minute of it, most especially because I’ve spent it with this gorgeous girl!

Vancouver is home for me and your post is giving me all the feels. Missing it big time right now! Thanks for sharing.
